- Galt Ocean Mile 1 bedroom unit sold over the last 6 months has been $283,750 – this being for a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom unit of 1050 square feet with a sales price to square foot price of $286.00 – In our last post the median sales price for a 1 bedroom unit was the same at $283,750 – this being for a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom unit of 1063 square feet with a sales price to square foot price of $284.00
- Galt Ocean Mile 2 bedroom unit sold over the last 6 months has been $450,000 – this being for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit of 1649 square feet with a sales price to square foot price of $290.00 – In our last post the median sales price for a 2 bedroom unit was the same at $450,000 – this being for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit of 1647 square feet with a sales price to square foot price of $291.00
- Galt Ocean Mile 3 bedroom unit sold over the last 6 months has been $928,000 – this being for a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom unit of 2150 square feet with a sales price to square foot price of $430.00 – In our last post the median sales price for a 3 bedroom unit was higher at $939,000 – this being for a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom unit of 2309 square feet with a sales price to square foot price of $434.00

There have been 134 sales of Galt Ocean Mile condos in Fort Lauderdale over the last 6 months to the end of March 2018

Again it is important to note that while the sales for the 6 months were well down in September and October 2017 with 15 sales in each of these months.
Sales for the months from November to March have been strong!

In our last post on Galt Ocean Mile condos sold over the last 6 months the the median sales price over the prior 6 months was $415,000 – this being for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit of 1514 square feet

More importantly is the median days on market at 72 days or just over 10 weeks – which is down from 78 days in our last post!
Days on market is the time from when the condo was listed for sale till the condo sold AND closed.
My Thoughts / Summary
It is great to see a strong level of sales volume for Galt Ocean Mile condos sold over the last 5 months – well up from Sept and Oct 2017.
It is also great to see median prices back on the rise – after a period of softening prices!
