Overall median sales prices are well up up since 2011 – however in 2017 median sales prices have softened – down by over $8,000 from 2016.

It is important to note however that median sales prices for 2 bedroom units are well up from 2016!

  • 2 Bedroom Units $505,000 for a 1577 square foot 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit with a sales price to square foot price of $337.00 – In 2016 the median sales price for 2 bedroom units was $455,000!
  • 3 Bedroom Units $1,050,000for a 2400 square foot 3 bedroom 3 bathroom unit with a sales price to square foot price of $436.00
  • 4 Bedroom Units $1,762,500for a 4436 square foot 4 bedroom 4 bathroom unit with a sales price to square foot price of $406.00

Note: the enormous jump in price from 2 bedroom units at $505,000 to 3 bedroom units at $1,050,000.

It is important to note that “the value” of 2 bedroom units at $505,000  – which is one of the reasons oceanfront 2 bedroom condos units here in Fort Lauderdale and especially on Galt Ocean Mile continue to be so highly sought after!
