  • Galt Ocean Mile 2 bedroom unit over the last 6 months has been $450,000 – this being for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit of 1675 square feet with a sales price to square foot price of $281.00 – In our last post the median sales price for a 2 bedroom unit was a little higher at $456,750 – this being for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit of 1720 square feet with a sales price to square foot price of $291.00
  • Galt Ocean Mile 3 bedroom unit over the last 6 months has been $805,000this being for a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom unit of 2211 square feet with a sales price to square foot price of $384.00 – In our last post the median sales price for a 3 bedroom unit was over $100,000 lower atg $700,000 – this being for a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom unit of 2136 square feet with a lower sales price to square foot price of $353.00

It is very important to note that sales of Galt Ocean Mile condos are down from our last 2 posts!

In our last there had been 144 sales and our prior post there were 171 sales of Galt Ocean Mile condos!

We can see from this report that the median sales price over the last 6 months has been $435,000 – this being for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit of 1622 square feet

It is important to note that median sales pricesfor Galt Ocean Mile condos are up by over $35,000 over the last few months – you can see they are up in each of our last 3 posts!

Also important to note is the range of prices paid – from $138,000 to $3,100,000 for a luxury Galt Ocean Mile condo in L’Hermitage!

My Thoughts / Summary

It is good to see this months results.

It is important to note that sales of Galt Ocean Mile condos are well down at 115 units from earlier posts.

Despite this drop in sales it is very encouraging to see the median sales price overall for Galt Ocean Mile condos up from our last few posts – a very positive real estate indicator indeed!

I personally think that sales have been impacted by several factors including recent elections here in the USA and a stronger US dollar – especially relative to the Canadian Dollar!
